This will entitle a spoilers section and a non spoiler one.


Non spoiler.

This was better than the first one I beleive. It did not cross badley with the first eather. It showed a humble Edmund not wanting to repeat his mistake along with an older Lucy. They also trusted eachother more and there was less immature mistakes. The speacial effects where spectacular also. I just wish there was more Character Bio's (What are the roles of the Wemon centaurs for example.) There was also more killing and everything was at a more mature level than the first one. It also tore your heart out on a few places. Worse than seeing that fox turned to stone by the white witch. (To tell you the truith I dont remember any blood in the first one but there was a few drops in this one) I loved the way they get to Narnia this time. It was a very Epic and also Realistic (as realistic as demensional warp gets) to a great aspect. I give this Movie two thumbs up and 4 and a half starts.



Spoiler.

It starts off with someone running from a bunch of someones on steed's. After a while the prince of Casbian falls and is almost killed by a Dwarf. On another note here I do enjoy the Dwarfs on this one, I do not know why but I do like the Dwarfs here more than Gimli on lord of the rings (A quick fact, C.S. Leuis the one who created Narnia and J.R.R Tolkein who made the Lord of the Rings where best friends. They almost defriended when he mixed differnt creatures of legend together.) If you do find a few things on here that cross from lord of the rings (such as the sword used by the main dwarf toward the end of the movie) dont be suprised. It goes on having Lucy almost ran down by a car in their world and she then heads to the subway after beckoning he sister (the name escapes me...). They then go to find Peter in a fight that takes military rule to break up. After a few uninteresting events they go into the subway, this is the best transition ever! The subway peels away tile by tile untill they are in a cave back into Narnia!

One of the greatest aspects of this is the swordplay. The swordplay was more realistic than alot of shows I have seen. They did not fake anything nor did they pull any punches. It showed the Whole thing! This movie had me at the edge of my seat much of the time.

Another thing a great movie has to have is both Ethos Pathos and last of all, Logos (If you know what these mean you get a cookie!) It had a gut wrenching scene around the time they tried to take the castle from the bad guys. It showed how ones decision may impact another..

I think this review has gone long enough. If I where to go on about the good aspects of the movie this journal would be the longest in Deviant history.

I stopped at 11 because I had to be a least a little merciful.

I just got back from seeing the Frobidden Kingdom to find it a good show. But half way through it I was thinking back to A friends fan fiction. I got the strongest urge to start reading it. This fiction is made by and it is called The Origin of Lucario. I have to say this is weird.

I usually could care less about pokemon but ive known lucario to be very cool. I dont know why eather. I just suddenly got the urge to start reading it. Its too late to start now so starting tomarrow, Im going pokeymon.

Sonic still remains #1 for me and pokeymon will be a low number. But im reading this.

Im just sitting here at school after taking the core test and using my last few seconds on this laptop to write in my journal.
